CHP is thrilled to share that Penntorr Health's Wellbeing Garden won the Collaborative Green Space Project Award at the NHS Forest Awards 2024. This award highlights the significant impact of this project on the health and wellbeing of the local community in Torpoint, Cornwall. The garden's conception, construction, and development involved a fantastic team effort. The garden planted in summer 2023, offers a tranquil retreat for patients, staff, and the wider community. There is a diverse range of plants, picnic areas, and an information board explaining the local plants and wildlife. This achievement aligns with CHP's sustainability goals and the #GreenerNHS initiative. There are more than 30 wellbeing and community gardens at CHP buildings. By supporting green spaces and biodiversity, we contribute not only to a healthier environment but also to the wellbeing of our patients, staff, and local communities. #GreenerNHS #NHSForest Read more: https://buff.ly/3Zdu7aX

We provide professional strategic asset management services to effectively manage our estate through improved utilisation and contract management, driving out value from property to contribute to savings.

A new report demonstrates value of LIFT buildings to the NHS and the future direction of NHS care. It demonstrates that: - The LIFT estate has improved the quality and accessibility of services for patients and communities by providing modern, fit-for-purpose and integrated facilities that are flexible and adaptable. - LIFT provides long term cost certainty to NHS tenants - LIFT agreements provide more services, hence value, than would be offered under standard commercial alternatives. - LIFT costs include maintenance and lifecycle and provide value for money through ensuring there is no backlog maintenance You can find out more and download it here: https://buff.ly/3CANd32
