Repair Week NI 2025 This week from 3rd-9th March is #Repairweekni25 Repair Week is an important step in raising awareness of repair and its role in keeping cherished and useful items for longer. The initiative aims to encourage a repair and reuse culture throughout Northern Ireland. In support of this we recently partnered with the team at Repair & Share Foyle to assist with a number of workshops provided to young students from local schools to be creative in tackling textile waste and develop their own innovative ideas. In addition, we have provided a donation towards a local Mini Repair Cafe which will be this Saturday from 10.30am-12.30pm hosted by Tully Meadow Community Garden and Men's Shed based in Augher Co.Tyrone. Promoting Wellbeing At Cooneen Group our mission is to promote and assist our employees Wellbeing, which is one of our core Company Values. Over the last two weeks more than 100 employees have had the opportunity to have a personal health check provided by a qualified health professional on our UK sites. These checks help with early intervention and support the health of our employees. Time To Talk Day 2025 Today we celebrated Time To Talk Day which is the nation's biggest annual mental health conversation. A day for friends, families, communities and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives. To stamp out stigma and help support those in need to feel comfortable to seek help. To inspire our employees to get talking and create awareness we provided each employee with their very own little pack which included coffee and tea for a cuppa, and of course some chocolate! 🍫 It was also an opportunity to remind our employees of their wellbeing perks through our Cooneen Health Plan which offers lots of wellness benefits including cash back benefits, 24/7 GP services and a Talk it Over Employee Assistance Program.
