Meet Jasmine, a Belfast Met student who has just completed her course in BSc (Hons) Fashion Production and Business! 👏
In her final year, Jasmine and her peers collaborated with Cooneen Group during their Fashion Production Development module. After researching, designing and constructing two gold seal samples of adaptive and inclusive paramedic trousers, Cooneen Group selected Jasmine as their winner. 🏆
Alongside a monetary prize, Jasmine also had the opportunity to attend and showcase these trousers at the Emergency Services Show in Birmingham with the team at Cooneen Group.
“The best academic decision I made as a student was choosing to study at Belfast Met.
The great thing about this degree is that every single module that we undertake gives us a deeper understanding into the industry so that we have the knowledge to succeed in our future job positions.
From our time working with Cooneen Group, and myself attending the show, I can see how relevant each area truly is; from being able to understand the research and design stage, right up to the garment construction.”
