HANDOVER: Back in August, we successfully handed over the internal refurbishment of one of Uppingham School’s historic buildings, and their new day house – Li Kwok Po House. Working alongside AMA CHARTERED ARCHITECTS, Ridge and Partners LLP, Fisher German LLP and CB3 Consulting LTD, we converted the existing building – which recently housed classrooms, archive rooms, and staff accommodation – into a fabulous space for the day pupils joining the School in September 2024 and beyond. These works have provided new collaborative work and social spaces, a pupil lounge, tutor and study rooms, offices, changing facilities and WCs. HANDOVER: It's great to see that the new state-of-the-art kennels, we have constructed for the military working dogs at RAF Marham, officially opened earlier this week. Well done to everyone who has worked on this important project to provide an up to date new facility for the Royal Air Force (RAF) Military Police Dogs, which form part of the security at RAF Marham, in Norfolk. Working with VIVO Defence Services, we are proud to have completed this project as principal contractor for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). NEW PROJECT: We were recently awarded the contract for the development of the new split-level March Household Recycling Centre (HRC); working in collaboration with Cambridgeshire County Council, AtkinsRéalis and Thalia Waste Management. Working alongside Concertus Design and Property Consultants Limited as our multi-disciplinary design team to create this new recycling facility, the project will include a split-level yard with retaining walls and embankments, offering a modern and efficient layout. Alongside the improved yard, two small buildings will be on site: a welfare building for staff and a reuse area for the public. The project will also involve constructing a new highway access and extending the footway to ensure easier access for visitors.
