Craigclowan provides a warm and nurturing environment for boys and girls aged 3 – 13 to learn and grow. School is a hive of activity from 0730 until 1800, with a family-friendly wraparound care programme before and after lessons. The school minibus fleet collects children from across the region and Craigclowan’s ever-popular holiday activity camps operate throughout the year. Dougal will take over the reins from Mrs Henderson when she retires, following almost three decades of service to the School. The latest phase of a major programme of investment at Craigclowan is underway. The work, being undertaken by Perthshire-based Algo Construction, follows the school’s recent investment in Hedgehog House, an expansion to its nursery capacity in response to a substantial increase in demand for places. Liz Henderson, Head of Craigclowan, said: “My thanks go to the excellent Algo team and the staff who are at school and assisting during this period of major construction. Particular thanks to the administration and grounds teams for all their enthusiasm and support while the works are ongoing.” Mrs Henderson is pictured with Bill Farrar, Chair of the Craigclowan Board of Governors, and Mike Beale, a Craigclowan Governor and former Head of Craigclowan.

Well done to our British champions! 🥇🏆⛷️ We sent three teams to compete at the British Schools Indoor Ski Championships in Manchester yesterday and our U14 team are now British champions! Huge congratulations to Hugo, Ruairidh and Will. Our U12 and U10 teams all skied fantastically well too and we have high hopes for them in the future. There was a great atmosphere, our children were superb ambassadors for Craigclowan and we had fantastic support from our travelling parents. Our Head Liz Henderson and former Craigclowan pupil Jack I were delighted to meet one of the world’s top rugby players this afternoon! Sam Whitelock, the most capped All Black in the history of New Zealand rugby, was enjoying a relaxed afternoon with friends and family at Glenalmond College Commem end of term celebrations. Lovely to see the sun out for everyone to enjoy the final day of term. Our best wishes to all the Glenalmond leavers for their next chapters in life. 😊
