Datum have been designing and manufacturing sensors and systems to measure Torque and Shaft Power since 1989. Torque Sensors have been supplied to a diverse customer base from Heavy Industry, the World's Navies, Shipping, Vehicles, Product Testing, Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Universities. Research and Development over the last two years is bringing a constant flow of new features to all of the product range. All systems can be supplied with access to data over Ethernet, Serial RS485/232, USB, Modbus and analogue connections as 4-20mA, +/-10Vdc,+/-5Vdc and more. New patents have been attained for new sensing elements and methods soon to come to market. “Datum can offer you an off the shelf solution or an engineered solution to suit your requirements.” The company is fully accredited and regulated to ISO 9001, which means that our systems, procedures and products conform to the highest industry standards.
