We are excited to announce the launch of the Rubble-works website! The launch marks the completion of the Robots//Reuse research project. In this collaboration, David Chipperfield Architects Berlin and the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart explored the reuse of rubble by looking at how material, techniques, and digital technologies can be combined to make construction and demolition waste relevant to contemporary architecture and construction. David Chipperfield Architects’ London office has moved to a new space in Fitzrovia. The practice was founded in 1985 in nearby Marylebone and is returning to the West End after time in Camden, Waterloo, Aldwych and Farringdon. For the first time since Camden the practice will occupy an entire building and have its own street-front presence.
