In a NEW paper from Sophia Knight, Elizabeth Seger and Ben Glover, we set out how AI can be a part of the radical transformation our public services desperately need. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gCc68Ycs This paper builds on Demos' new 'Liberated Public Services' agenda and maps out how we can – and must - embed data and AI *within* a reformed public service model that addresses the deep structural problems we face today. AI can serve this agenda by; ➡️ Supporting prevention by using predictive modelling, ➡️ Empowering frontline service professionals by freeing up time spent on administrative tasks, and ➡️ Improving communication and collaboration with citizens through AI-enabled civic technology. Yet, it is critical that we get the use of AI into our public services right.
