💙 Going blue for #Movember: Let’s talk about men’s health! 💙 After highlighting breast cancer awareness in October, this November, we swapped pink for blue to support Movember and International Men’s Day, shining a light on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health. Here’s what some of our team have to say about why this matters: 🗣 Miles Pickard: "Movember isn’t just about growing a moustache, it’s about mental health and suicide prevention. Sometimes, the people who seem the strongest need help. Support your mates, even with a quick chat." 🗣 Mark Richardson: "Raising awareness removes stigma and promotes early detection. Talking about health and mental health educates others and fosters understanding. Workplaces can also create safe spaces and spread awareness." 🗣 Lee Kelly: "Breaking the stigma lets men seek help without fear of judgment. Regular discussions with friends, family, or colleagues can save lives. We need to encourage openness and ensure professional resources are accessible." 🗣 Gary White: "Prostate cancer is the silent killer. The 30-second risk-check can save lives. And sometimes, a simple chat can uncover deeper issues and make all the difference." 🗣 Ged Deehan: "My advice: talk, share, and don’t hesitate to ask for help if needed. Everyone’s struggles are different, and needing support doesn’t make anyone weak. That’s why it’s so important to keep the dialogue going." A big thank you once again to South Kesteven District Council SKDC for lending us their blue truck to help spread the word in Warwick, Blackpool, and Leeds! 💙🚚 Whether it’s growing a moustache, starting a conversation, or promoting health checks, every effort matters. #DennisEagle #ProstateCancer #MentalHealth #InternationalMensDay

Something Borrowed, Something New, Something Blue! 💙 We’re throwing it back this Thursday to an unforgettable moment when we helped Nathan Bignell make his wedding day dreams a reality! 💒✨ Nathan made a grand entrance in none other than a Refuse Collection Vehicle 🚛! We recently visited some very excited 4-5-year-olds at a local school in Worcestershire as part of their school’s 'People Who Help Us' project! 🚛✨ The pupils have already had visits from a fire engine and a police car, but bin lorries stole the show! They love waving at the bin collectors each week, so we made their day extra special! 🌟 Each child got to hop into the bin lorry and press the horn! 🌟 They were thrilled to see 'Dennis the Dustcart' on the side of the vehicle! 🌟 We taught them how bin lorries work and why recycling is so important for the planet. 🌍 It was fantastic to see the excitement and smiles on their faces, and we’re so pleased we could help inspire the next generation of eco-heroes! 💚 If your school would love a visit from Dennis Eagle, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 📩 contact.us@dennis-eagle.co.uk #DennisEagle #RecyclingHeros #DennisTheDustcart #WasteManagement

This is Owen Moorman, a dedicated Electrical Design Engineer. Owen works within the harness design team, creating harness designs and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure every electrical part is ordered, assembled, and ready to go. He also develops detailed rework documents and installation drawings using 3D CAD models to help production teams visualise exact connections across the vehicle’s components. 🚛 👨💻 In addition to being a mentor to apprentices, Owen is currently pursuing his BEng Hons degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University.
