For a world with water for all

About us

Deploy aims to help rural communities and fire mitigation programmes to easier access water storage infrastructure, we do it better than conventional concrete solutions by providing an affordable and more sustainable option, as well as a product designed for easy transportation and maintenance. Deploy is the first-ever air-deployed, ready-to-use water tank, manufactured with a concrete-filled fabric. There is a water crisis and it’s more relevant than ever since without access to safely managed drinking water; millions of people living in vulnerable areas are at risk of infectious diseases such as cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and now COVID-19. By interacting with 175 communities in Ecuador, we found that water storage is an essential component of any water supply system, but also, it is the most expensive and labour-intensive. Additionally, we have been witnessing massive and terrible wildfires taking place all over the world, which has pushed a lot of countries to take action. We also want to support these initiatives by providing water tanks to help reduce the detrimental impacts of fires. Each Deploy tank has a capacity of 40,000 litres in case of fires. On the other hand, it has been designed to supply communities of up to 2,000 people. Its transportability enables shipping the product anywhere on the world, something never seen for concrete technologies before. The environmental impact reduction by replacing conventional concrete tanks could be more than 70% of CO2 in materials and more than 90% of CO2 in transportation aspects. These are not simple improvements, these are game-changer properties that can positively impact the concrete infrastructure industry. Our patent-pending technology is breaking the pre-established perception of concrete infrastructures being expensive, inflexible, and heavy. “Deploy disrupting the industry of water storage.”

  • Deploy™ is working alongside a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate this week in Munich! Yes, we are talking about the World Food Programme (WFP). The WFP operates in over 120 countries, reaching and impacting 152 million people worldwide. As they advance towards their 2030 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2—achieving zero hunger—we, too, are progressing toward becoming an impact unicorn by expanding our global outreach. #distrupthunger #SDG2 #zerohunger #impactunicorn Paul Mendieta

  • 📰 BBC News has highlighted the ongoing crisis in north-east Syria, which is a stark reminder of the critical importance of accessible water infrastructure. We believe in the power of innovation to provide solutions, especially in times of need. We are often asked how the water is provided to be stored in our tanks. This sad reality explains it all for the humanitarian aid applications. Tankers are crucial for moving water around; every second is precious. In disaster zones and displacement camps, our rapidly deployable tanks act as the main storage, then being distributed to smaller ones. This saves a lot of time for tankers and creates efficiency, even in the most extreme conditions. With the demand for resilient, transportable water storage growing, we know that the solution is ready. It just needs to be deployed. Let's work together to address water shortages and bring vital resources where they are needed most. #WaterSolutions #Innovation #DeployTech #Syria #Gaza #ForEveryChild #WASH #HumanitarianAid https://lnkd.in/eCxhhzdT

  • Desert Drama: We Failed! ❌ 💧 Last year, we got a call from Hanouf and Dee from Saudi Arabia. They needed two of our 14R Tanks to store water for their farm/camping property in the middle of the desert in Riyadh. 🏜 No problem, right? Our tanks are designed to go where others can’t - extreme locations are kind of our thing. So we got in contact with our amazing partners at KABBANI CONSTRUCTION GROUP - KCG and packed them up, waved them off, and envisioned a perfect success story in the making. 💯 Spoiler alert: It wasn’t. Fast forward a few weeks, and we received some unfortunate news. The tanks weren’t hardening properly. Despite being hydrated multiple times, they refused to hold their shape, let alone water. Long story short? One of them collapsed. Cue collective facepalm. 🤦♀️ 🤦♂️ Turns out, the desert had some tricks up its sleeve. The extreme heat, bone-dry conditions, and relentless winds blew fine sand dust into the tank material fibres, messing with its ability to absorb water. Without water absorption, the concrete never set, and the tanks…well, they were compromised. What did we do? 🛫 We hopped on a plane faster than you can say "hydration crisis" and landed in Saudi Arabia to assess the situation first-hand. After some serious brainstorming (and a lot of sand removal), we figured out that scraping the tank exteriors could help reopen the fibres in the material. Second spoiler: It worked! With a bit of work, we re-inflated and rehydrated the tank in salvageable conditions. This time, it hardened perfectly. Then, we installed a brand new 14R. We connected them to the camp site, and water flowed like a desert oasis. 🌊 Lessons learned? - Extreme heat calls for extreme measures. - Sand is sneaky. - Sometimes you need to fail spectacularly to innovate brilliantly. 💙 We’re grateful to Hanouf and Dee, and KABBANI CONSTRUCTION GROUP - KCG for their patience and partnership throughout this adventure. With the tanks now performing as they should, we’re excited to tackle more projects together - hopefully, with fewer sand-induced hiccups! Here’s to learning, growing, and always improving. 🛠 #DeployTech #InnovationThroughFailure #LessonsFromTheDesert #WaterForAll
