Today, we’re announcing our partnership with Digital Yacht to improve boat anchoring predictability—a major step forward in enhancing safety and peace of mind for boaters everywhere.⚓️ While modern anchor hardware is engineered to be highly capable, there’s no certainty that an anchor will truly grip to the ocean’s floor. Using Viam’s technology, Digital Yacht was able to launch their NjordLINK app with AnchorSafe, an advanced anchor drift alert solution. About the app launch, Nick Heyes, CEO of Digital Yacht, said “None of this would’ve been possible without Viam and the transformative technology we’ve been able to build into our product.” This app also monitors position, depth, and wind data alongside the AnchorSafe feature—to give boaters full visibility and the assurance they need to go ashore worry-free. Head to the app’s page and see how it enhances the boating experience: https://lnkd.in/eA9aBS2j Read the press release: https://lnkd.in/efguVw4D

We have been extra busy and have 6 new products to introduce at METSTRADE in Amsterdam. We are also launching our new Njord Cloud platform for real time boat monitoring, historical analysis, analytics/maintenance and advanced AI functionality. We have also been nominated for the DAME design award. Just 58 products from the thousands of products on display at METS make it to this stage and we have both OneFix and MOB Alert in the selection – a double whammy and a first for many in the industry! That also brings us to a total of 14 DAME Award nominations. The show will take place from 19-21 November 2024 and we will be exhibiting in Hall 1, Booth 533. Please email sales@digitalyacht.eu.com if you would like to make an appointment with one of our team at METS.
