I spent the day with their marketing expert, Victoria Georgiou, sharing an in-depth SEO audit and brainstorming strategies to enhance this start-up's organic visibility. The day got even better with a distillery tour and rum tasting, led by the incredible Darren, and Shaun Tom Smith, the GENIUS behind the distillation process. I also had the chance to meet Lewis Hayes, the founder of DropWorks. The dedication and passion he’s poured into this venture are truly inspiring. DropWorks is set to make waves 🌊 in the rum industry, so keep an eye on them—let me be the first to tell you, they’re on the verge of something big. 🙌 IT’S DROPPED 🙌 Barrel Drop is here. And it was worth the wait. We have been super busy creating and planning for the launch of this Drop for quite some time now, and are so are very proud to have finally released it to the world, officially today! So what is Barrel Drop?: 🥃 Barrel Drop consists of barrel matured Rum which is made in our British home, the DropWorks Distillery, of course (which also happens to be the largest Rum Distillery in Europe!). 🥃 The liquid consists of molasses-based fermentations with the wild trinity yeast that you only get with DropWorks Rums, before being batch-distilled to ensure only the highest quality of Drops reach your glass. 🥃 World-first hybrid Rum barrels (among a variety of hand selected others) are used to mature the liquid for up to 12 months. 🥃 Expect notes of Rum & Raisin ice cream, jammy dates and winter spices.
