Last week’s Thursday, we invited a select few information security professionals to join us at The Bloomsbury Hotel (The Doyle Collection), in London, for an exclusive round table luncheon hosted in partnership with Exponential-e and Fortinet. Paul Brooker, Nikos Eleftherakis, Ben Smith and Kash Valji led a conversation around How Secure Networking is protecting against the Surge of Cyber Attacks in the Era of AI. Participants left having gained great insights on transitioning from firewalls to SD-WAN and obtaining practical strategies for implementing and optimising network security solutions, amongst other things. They were also encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences with dealing with #AI in relation to #cyberattacks. Last Wednesday, we partnered with Tanium once more to host a private round-table dinner at the incredible City of London Club. A selection of information security professionals was invited to share their thoughts around “Putting your risk management concerns to bed -a guide to IT security and data compliance”. In a discussion lead by Peter Cole, Erik Gaston and Dan Jones, they touched upon many aspects of risk management, including navigating the new regulatory landscape, shifting the metrics of success to prioritise factors like throughput and end-user experience, the role of #IT leaders in risk management and balancing #security vs business agility. Some great points were made, and it was insightful to hear from the participants about their own experience. We’re curious to know what your thoughts are! How do you define and measure success in IT? Last week, as the #eCrimeCongress Austria in Vienna drew to a close, a selected few participants stayed behind to enjoy a delicious meal at the Renaissance Wien Hotel whilst engaging in a private and exclusive round-table discussion. We partnered with KnowBe4 to host a conversation around "Understanding the Impact of AI on Cybersecurity and People", as we believe that as cybersecurity professionals, our role extends beyond awareness of these emerging trends, and we have to strategise and guide our organisations through it on both a technological and a human level. Dr. Martin J. Kraemer, Marcel Philipe Mühlberg and Tim de Quaasteniet lead the participants to share their thoughts on how AI affects #cybersecurity, how it changes society and business and the role of security culture in their organisation. There is a lot to cover when it comes to the topic of AI, and it made for an engaging exchange! We’d love to hear your thoughts as well! This past Tuesday, as we were launching our first ever e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress Austria in Vienna, we also had the pleasure of hosting a private breakfast round-table with participants exclusively selected from the Congress’ delegation. We partnered with Rubrik to have a conversation around "Dealing with the triple threat of ransomware, data theft and extortion attacks" whilst enjoying a delicious breakfast, thanks to the Renaissance Wien Hotel. Frank Schwaak and Fred Seyr lead an engaging discussion in which participants shared their viewpoints on what the complexities and consequences of #ransomware attacks, data theft and cyber extortion are to their organisation and how can regulatory #compliance be used to strengthen an organisation’s #cybersecurity, amongst other topics. Last Wednesday, we were delighted to host a private and exclusive #RoundTable dinner with our partner Tanium at the select The Walbrook Club in London. Participants were invited from the retail industry to discuss #IT visibility and how retailers can reduce latency, error rates and cyber-threats by developing an understanding of how digital services and endpoints are behaving. Whilst enjoying a delicious meal, they shared their viewpoints and insights in a conversation led by Tom Bunce, Alex Eaton and Ben Hall. Last week, as the e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress was buzzing, some of our delegates stepped away to participate in an exclusive round table discussion hosted in collaboration with Risk Ledger around a delicious lunch, provided by the Park Plaza Victoria. Dan M., Haydn Brooks and Max Harvey led the discussion on Uniting Against Cyber Threats: Strengthening Our Defence Through Collaboration.
