Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄 Anglia One (Norwich) and Anglia Two (Cambridge) are ready to respond, just like any other day of the year. A huge thank you to Wensum Valley Golf Club and Bedford Lodge Hotel who ensured the crews had their Christmas dinner today, and to Byfords of Holt who provided a hamper for the night crew.

About us
The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a charity providing a lifesaving service to the people of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk 365 days a year. We do not receive any regular government funding and we rely on the generosity of local people and organisations who ensure that we keep flying and in turn saving lives. To keep our two air ambulances in the air and to provide the specialist clinical equipment we carry, we need to raise over £11m each year. Together we save lives.

This year’s Festive Carol Concerts have raised over £14,000 to support our life-saving work. That’s equivalent to just over three live-saving missions. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to London Luton Airport and Stephen Green and Associates for sponsoring the event 💛🚁.

Meet ‘Santa Ron’ who, in 2024, marks his sixtieth Christmas as Santa 🎅. Ron Horniblew, now age 89 and Britain’s longest-serving Santa, has been volunteering with EAAA for many years and continues to spread joy all year round to communities in Bedfordshire, raising vital funds to save lives in our region. On the shortest day of the year, EAAA’s helicopters can operate safely during the hours of darkness thanks to night vision technology. This vital equipment is used by pilots, doctors and critical care paramedics to identify potential obstructions – this is extremely important given that we are having to fly at low level to identify and land at remote sites across the region. This helps to keep crew, patients and bystanders safe by making obstructions much easier to identify. Find out more about NVIS technology ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ejid2wVc

This winter, when our hearts are working harder to keep us warm, give your community a boost by learning CPR and how to confidently use a defibrillator. This means if somebody near you suffers a cardiac arrest, you will know how to increase their chances of survival and recovery. "The work we do is always demanding, and the festive season only adds to the challenges, a reality all emergency services know well. Yet, none of it would be possible without the incredible support of the public. Your generosity ensures that many families can celebrate Christmas together after facing life-changing events." "We only go with you. So, however you choose to support EAAA, we are deeply grateful." - Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) Josh Donate to help Josh save live this Christmas: https://lnkd.in/eGV_ejzf
