About us
Econekt are a design-led building company focusing on producing sustainable homes for self-builders and developers alike. Econekt works primarily with self-builders and residential developers to enable them to produce the most sustainable and desirable build. Whilst our system is preferably suited for residential use, on small commercial developments where sustainability and low-running costs are desired, the Econekt system has been specified. Whilst mainly focusing on the design and build side of projects Econekt do supply materials only and advise on projects if clients desire such a service. Econekt was formed as a specialist supplier and installer of Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) construction forms, namely Izodom. Econekt provides consultation and design along with supply and install services to the construction industry – mainly to self-builders and smaller commercial-sized projects. Their in-house team, in collaboration with the client and project design team, takes the initial set of architectural drawings - either produced in house or by a third party architect - to find an Econekt structural solution for your project. Design - The Econekt team are able to cater for all elements of the design process, from conceptual architectural drawings through to completed engineering drawings. Supply - Econekt manage the ordering, supply and shipment of all structural elements from the manufacturing facilities throughout the UK and Europe. Installation - Dedicated installation teams that construct the buildings on-site, and site managers who oversee all the works during the entire construction process ensures that each structure is installed to Econekt's exacting standards.

Progress from a site visit in Sevenoaks 📍 The photograph really doesn't do the complexity of this project justice. With a double-storey retaining wall to the rear, forming the lower-ground floor and ground floor rear wall. Paired with a split-level ground floor, partially built off of a contiguous piled foundation with ring beam cap and partially suspended over the lower-ground living areas 🚧 This project certainly tested the skill-set of our build teams 👷 It is one we're pleased to have worked on, and look forward to seeing the client completing their works after our structural shell build 🏠️ Interested in having the home of your dreams?
