Founder & CEO @ eduMe I Frontline Training

Changes I’d like to see in the frontline training landscape in 2025 👇 (That might not be what you’re expecting…) 1️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 No one knows how to do the job better than those on the ground. There’s a wealth of tribal knowledge out there that remains untapped, and with 55% saying they learn best from their peers, I think it’s time we give seasoned workers the reigns. 2️⃣ 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗴𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 We’ve seen plenty of learning trends come and go, many of which end up just being a distraction from the main goal of training. This year I’d like to see a renewed focus on nailing the basics - ensuring that knowledge is retained by workers, reinforced regularly, and applied in their roles. 3️⃣ 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 Just because it’s work-related, doesn’t mean it has to be in corporate jargon. One of our customers, Temco Logistics, talks to their workers in the language of memes, GTA and Dragonball - and it works, exceptionally well (hear them explain their strategy here: https://lnkd.in/dHxXBRGR) 4️⃣ 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 It’s been a buzzword for a long time now, but the majority of businesses still aren’t taking the research behind it seriously. In our recent survey, only 1% of workers told us their training takes less than 5 minutes - which we know is the sweet spot. If you’re still not focused on making training digestible, 2025 needs to be the year you make it happen. 5️⃣ 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘀 You don’t need a different app for everything. In fact, having to trawl through multiple softwares, set up new profiles and remember more passwords just makes life more difficult - both for you and your workers. This year, prioritise integrating new tools and functionalities into your existing tech for experiences that are truly friction-free. -- These are all points that we’re focused on helping our customers achieve. Whether that’s through improvements to the eduMe platform or community resources and events (more on this to come 👀). 📌 What are you hoping to see more or less of in 2025?

  • “Do not shy away from the meme-ification of everything.” 🎤 That’s the ethos when it comes to training at Temco Logistics, and it’s definitely served them well. Since incorporating fun, trend-driven content into their training strategy - including Grand Theft Auto, Dragonball, and even Elmo-inspired videos - they’ve seen incredible results. Not just in terms of engagement, but also: 👉 Reduction in auto accident rate by a third 👉 Double digit increase in per day earnings 👉 600k savings The lesson? The best way to ensure your workers absorb what you’re saying, is to speak in their language 🔥 Hear more from Jesse and Dan on how they built their unique training strategy: https://lnkd.in/eHkqVJ-q

  • What do frontline workers ACTUALLY want from you? 🤔 Well, we asked them 👇 And it turns out, your workers aren’t asking for all that much when it comes to setting them up for success. The majority just want better training. Training that’s fast to complete, relevant to their jobs, and engaging enough to keep their attention ✅ Want to know more about how your frontline (and your peers) are thinking as we head into 2025? • Last week it was our music listening habits, this week we’re looking at a year in frontline training 🎁 That’s right, eduMe’s 2024 #Wrapped is finally here! Thank you to our community for another incredible year 💜 Who knows what we’ll achieve in 2025? 👀
