First Aid is a skill you hope you never have to use, but if you ever find yourself in that situation you will be glad you know it. One of the issues with all training, but First Aid particularly, is skill fade. Basically, if you don't use it, you lose it. You can see how someone doing a one day course, once every 3 years is probably not enough. It’s about confidence and competence, not when the certificate runs out.
