We had a great chat with the tech guy to find out that the hydrofoil is a mini F1 car! 🎥 Each boat is equipped with high speed cameras from RIEDEL Communications and #AccidentDataRecorders all real time. 🏎 If you think of #carbonfibre think Sail GP! Factor in recycling carbon fibre for non-structural parts as it is a great example that other sports can emulate ♻️ 🌞 Solar panels power the entire paddock where possible! #ThrowbackFriday Last Friday, we were thrilled to be invited to speak at the #NittoATPFinals #InnovationSummit at the Centro Congressi Unione Industriali Torino. 📣 This year, the event focused on #Sustainability, #CircularEconomy and #SustainableInnovation, showcasing the commitments of sports federations, institutions, research bodies, and companies to advancing these topics. ♻ Chiara Foglietta, Matteo Marnati, and Claudia Colla from the EU opened the summit with interesting statistics on sustainability and the right to repair. 🎾 Marco Martinasso, Director of the Federazione Italiana Tennis and Padel, presented the three pillars of the events which this year have included an #ESGFramework and the commitment of the federation for the Nitto ATP Finals 2024 and 2025, with our CEO Dr. Cristiana Pace, CEng explaining the technical details and methodology of our multi-year collaboration with the iconic event. 🌍 The summit concluded with a panel discussing innovative solutions for sustainability, with Luca Villa from Nitto EMEA, Fabrizio Barbiero, Silvia Barbero from Politecnico di Torino, Matteo Pessione from the fantastic OGR Torino, Federico Perrero from Bitron and Matteo Fornero from the European Union.
