Essex Professional Coaching

Education

Engaging and inspiring individuals through high quality physical activity.

About us

At EPC we advocate the many benefits to be gained by children being involved in sport, and the positive impact that being physically active can have on us as individuals. We place a major emphasis on developing, encouraging and inspiring every participant that we come into contact with because we realise that providing young people with opportunities to develop their cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills is essential to their well-being as they develop in life. We deliver a wide range of sustainable sports provision packages that not only mentor and develop school staff but engage and enhance pupil’s participation in physical activity across Essex. Our extensive Term Time and Holiday Camp programmes offers parents a regular opportunity to give their child a fantastic sporting experience in a safe, affordable and enjoyable environment. We also work with a number of local sports clubs to offer bespoke team and 1-2-1 coaching opportunities, using our expertise to support sport and individuals at grassroots level.

Leading a passionate and caring team of physical activity professionals striving to create a healthier, happier, and more active 🌍

Latest Sport England figures show that only 45% of children met CMO guidelines of taking part in physical activity for an average of 60 minutes per day during the 2019/20 academic year. One in two children not averaging enough physical activity 😨 It’s immensely important that we all work together to provide sporting opportunties for children and young people or we risk seeing this number decrease further into the 2020/21 academic year.. In association with Essex Professional Coaching ‘Get kids active, again’ scheme we are offering teachers the opportunity to win FREE sports provision for their school to support pupil PE catch up.. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 >> 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 🎂 July 2017, sat wedged into Adam’s wife’s Fiat 500 in the IKEA car park, wondering if it’s safe to drive 2 plain white office desks home that way 🤷🏽♂️ That’s where it started for Adam & I on the EPC journey, officially unemployed and ready to setup our HQ from the spare bedroom of his first home 😮 Essex Professional Coaching 👈🏽 💭 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 💭 𝗪𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 ‘𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗸𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 💭 𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 💭 𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟯 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 It’s never all sunshine and rainbows when launching your own business, and sometimes I feel we emphasise the shiny bits too often 🌈 The stormy bits are important too because it’s how you deal with, learn from, and react to those that propels you forwards 📈 The reality is the above happened within the first two years but we never lost faith, and fast forward seven years we’re still here, still failing at times but celebrating wins too 😬 Enjoying birthdays a little more now as well, 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝘼𝙙 (making the most of annual leave I hope 😅) Another year older! It’s an absolute pleasure being on this journey with you mate 🙌🏽 👴🏻👀 Striving to create a healthier, happier, and more active Essex 🤸🏽♀️ Enjoy your day and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow (bring leftover cake, yeah? 🍰) 😅 #Business #Leadership #Codirectors #Progress #Birthday

𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹, 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵: 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 🚀 5 years ago we launched our Clacton Football Centre ⚽️ Training sessions for children in primary school as an introduction to the beautiful game 😊 Adam & I have always loved football and played with and against each other for over a decade 🫱🏽🫲🏻 So, once we launched Essex Professional Coaching we always planned to run football sessions for kids to share that passion with the next generation 🫶🏽 I was so nervous come launch night, we’d previously launched an indoor football centre in Colchester that failed 🙅🏽♂️ And so the thought of trying again can be scary but, that’s exactly when you should try again.. right? 🤷🏽♂️ This time around we👇🏽 🔅𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 📉 🔅𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 ⛽️ 🔅𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 (𝗥 - 𝗬𝗿𝟲) 🙌🏽 🔅𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 💪🏽 🔅𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 🚀 And off we went🤞🏽 Turns out that launch night was a success and since then, the centre continues to engage hundreds of children each week in fun football sessions 🥹 Credit to Sean who, after we met, expressed his interest in supporting the centre & went on to advocate the sessions as well as coach at them on a weekly basis 👏🏽 #businessjourney #engagingchildren #football #failure #success
