Project progressing well for our client Essex X-Ray & Medical Equipment Ltd. Great to see the designs coming to life. The site team are doing a fantastic job and are well on track to complete this project in the new year. Essex X-Ray has committed to a 60,000 sq ft unit at the new office, industrial, R&D and logistics park, Horizon 120, being constructed close to the A120 in Braintree. Essex X-Ray is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high voltage interconnects including cable assemblies and receptacles. The new space will provide a state of the art High-Tech manufacturing facilities to continue the impressive growth path the business has been on. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐍... ⌛ We're currently on-site at Essex X-Ray & Medical Equipment Ltd. A 59,000 sqft CAT A & B fit-out of a new build in Braintree. The new fit-out will provide state-of-the-art Office, Workshop, Lab and Warehouse space for the business, and the progress is coming along well.😍 We have made a strong start on site with electrical and drylining works progressing well. Mechanical works are due to commence imminently with procurement for follow on trades well underway in-line with the construction programme. We are continuing to engage with the client and their team on a multitude of various elements including detail designs and finishes to continue to build on this relationship throughout the course of the project. Our NEW facility is really taking shape with windows and shutters going in and the front design aspects coming together. The fit out project is also underway as we create a modern factory and head office with plenty of scope for future expansion. It’s great to see the sun shining on our NEW factory as the shell and core moves closer to completion. Fit out is scheduled to start in the summer with the bespoke production areas designed to optimise quality and efficiency. The next stage of construction at our NEW facility has seen the first floor slab work get underway. Did you know that the road our NEW facility is being built on is named after the founding father of diagnostic radiology? Rontgen Place pays homage to the German engineer & physicist Wilhelm Röntgen who produced the first X-Ray in 1895 and will be home for both our production and head offices. It was a landmark moment for Essex X-Ray when the local authority confirmed our NEW address had been registered at the Horizon 120 site. This attractive location places us at the heart of a modern business & innovation hub conveniently located within 20 minutes of Stansted Airport.
