It’s National Apprenticeship Week, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by shining a spotlight on some of our fantastic apprentices their journeys with us so far! Apprenticeships offer young people hands-on experience, recognised qualifications, and a clear career path, all while earning a salary. But don’t just take our word for it, here are two more inspiring success stories from our team: Alan Lowing – Alan started his apprenticeship with us back in September 2015. Since then, he’s gained his BTEC and NVQ in Manufacturing Engineering and built an impressive career here at European Springs & Pressings. After honing his skills in our wire forming department and getting hands-on experience with a variety of machines, Alan has recently stepped into the role of Wire Technical Engineer. This new position gives him more responsibility, greater customer interaction, and the opportunity to become a true expert in his field. Sami Hamache – Sami joined us in July 2022 as an apprentice, and since then, he’s been making great strides. With his BTEC and NVQs under his belt, he’s now working in our production department as a Small Order Spring Maker and Setter. Learning from our experienced team, Sami continues to develop his craft, and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress and dedication.
