Not only are we passionate about sustainable transport but we are equally as passionate about sustainability day to day. In fact, during December, waste levels rise significantly across the country, with nearly 𝟐𝟓% 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫. Yet, with a few simple changes, we can all make December traditions kinder to the planet. We want to celebrate the season in a way that brings happiness not only to our loved ones but also to our environment. Here are 5 easy ways to “𝐆𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫” and reduce our impact, while keeping the festive spirit alive! 1. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲-𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: Switch to LED lights to save energy. They last longer and use up to 80% less electricity than traditional bulbs. 2. 𝐎𝐩𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐖𝐫𝐚𝐩: Instead of single-use wrapping paper, use reusable fabric wraps, scarves, or bags. 3. 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬: Choose eco-friendly gifts such as reusable water bottles, solar-powered gadgets, or ethically sourced products. 4. 𝐃𝐈𝐘 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Make your own decorations from natural or recycled materials like pinecones, dried fruit, or old magazines. 5. 𝐁𝐮𝐲 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞: Consider purchasing a potted tree that can be planted after the celebrations instead of cutting down a tree. Stay tuned for more tips in the coming weeks 🌍 #Sustainability #ElectricVehicles #EvoltCharging
