🏆🏆 Excitement abounded last week in London, UK, when Exinity were honoured at the prestigious International Customer Experience Awards. We won not one, but two awards; Best Customer Service Team for which we gained Silver, and CX Leader of the Year, for our very own Rachael C. for which we received Bronze. This was a monumental achievement, and we are super proud of the teams involved!! Well done! 🔥🔥🔥

Every World Mental Health Day is a chance to reflect on how we are supporting our people – but with this year’s theme being Mental Health in the Workplace, this seemed especially pertinent. Over recent years we have looked closely at where we might be able to increase the assistance we offer at Exinity and strove to improve wherever we could see opportunities. Like many companies, we offer a free-of-charge Employee Assistance Program, which available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For those who believe they need deeper support than what the EAP offers, our fully comprehensive medical insurance offers a range of options, such as psychiatry and psychotherapy and alternative therapies such as acupuncture and homeopathy – and we cover the cost for both the colleagues and their dependents, as we extend our medical insurance cover to our employees' dependents, to offer our people peace of mind. We've also considered ways to improve our people’s psychological safety with initiatives such as scrapping our probation periods and enhancing our life and critical illness cover; both aiming to improve peace of mind and give our colleagues one less thing to worry about. And with our 40 days’ annual leave, and Flex-Bens budget, we want to make sure all colleagues have both the time to rest and unwind, and a means to fund this. We know all too well that work can sometimes be stressful – ours is a high-pressure, fast-paced environment - and that a good manager can make the difference between feeling busy, and feeling overwhelmed. So, this year we've focused on helping our managers be effective - with multiple initiatives in place to support them - from 1-2-1 coaching to facilitating sessions around the importance of meaningful and regular manager-employee catch ups for employee engagement and wellbeing - and a lot in between. Our most recent eNPS survey suggests that our people are already beginning to feel the benefits of this approach. I want to finish by saying that we have put these policies and benefits in place so that we have a good structure to lean against, but we can all also strive to protect our mental health by showing kindness, empathy and generosity - both to ourselves and to those around us. A simple gesture or word of affection can go a long way. And I’m always looking for new opportunities to help our people – so if you have a great initiative in your workplace, I’d love to hear about it. Happy World Mental Health Day ❤️ #worldmentalhealthday Exinity
