Mr Bicknell said: “It was great to hear him talk about the importance of agri-tech and precision breeding and the complexity and circularity of agricultural production. “As an evidence-based and science-led organisation, UK Agri-Tech Centre is ideally placed to play a key role given our range of academic expertise and our capabilities which enable on-farm test and trial.” #agritech #technology #precisionbreeding

Groupe ISAGRI has announced the acquisition of Sencrop, which the two companies state will ensure the continuity of innovation and provide users with a higher level of service. 🚜 Michael B., co-founder of Sencrop, says that users and partners, including cooperatives and traders, will benefit from an expanded network of stations and a richer product offering. “For existing users, very little will change – our weather stations and app will continue to function as normal. But in the longer term, farmers will benefit from the synergies of our two businesses.” The merger will see the ISAGRI-owned Météus weather service absorbed by Sencrop. The corporation also owns Landmark Systems Ltd; a farm and estate management software company based in the UK. #sencrop #weatherstations #groupisagri
