We were approached by Mölnlycke Health Care, a leading medical device company, to refurbish one of their controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing areas. The aim was to de-bottleneck and improve efficiency through new, automated bulk handling, dosing, mixing and filling operations, as well as to improve conditions through facilities refurbishment, ventilation system and fume extraction optimisation. The project included a full strip-out of the client’s equipment before the installation of new systems and components. We recently refurbished a pharmaceutical manufacturing area for a pharmaceutical client, introducing new, automated bulk handling, dosing, mixing and filling operations. A key element of the refurbishment project included the supply, installation, commissioning and verification of a new mixer, with the aim of increasing mixing capacity while reducing mixing cycling time.
