This prestigious appointment recognises Ian’s dedication to community and service, marking a significant honour in his life and career. Ian joins a remarkable group of new Deputy Lieutenants, including Graeme Kinghorn, Myles Edwards, Morven Mackenzie, Rita Stephen, and Hector Williams. Together, with existing DLs, they will support the Lord-Lieutenant, Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron in carrying the great work of the Lieutenancy and promoting the City of Aberdeen.
