Come and experience what it’s like to step into the shoes of our young champions! 🏆 We are excited to be opening our doors once again to invite our friends and partners to experience our life-changing work firsthand with Fight for Peace LIVE! Join us for an inspiring evening as we celebrate the achievements of our young people over the past year and the community that supports them to become champions in the ring and in life. Activities will include: - A fun and inclusive 'Introduction to Boxing' session led by our qualified young coaches - A group workshop focussed on personal development and positive wellbeing - Q&As with current and former Fight for Peace members - Networking opportunities with charitable organisations, businesses and community groups - Food and refreshments Want to join us? A big thank you to SEGRO plc's European team for joining our online fitness session last Friday! Former Fight for Peace member and professional MMA contender, Jawany Scott fought his way to victory this weekend at the Cage Warriors 180 show at the Indigo O2! Another brilliant performance which has got people talking even more about Jawany having a shot at his first title fight! As a youth-led organisation, children's rights play a central role in defining our approach at Fight for Peace, influencing decision making and strategic direction at all levels. This week we participated in a thought-provoking workshop about the rights of children in sport. Hosted by Play Their Way and UNICEF UK at the Horizon Leeds not-for-profit conference venue in the heart of Leeds, the event covered a breadth of topics and how this vital issue informs every aspect of our work. The five-hour workshop was a fantastic opportunity to meet other leading figures and organisations in youth sport and participate in wide-ranging discussions on how to apply children's rights in a sporting context. A big thank you to Play Their Way and UNICEF UK for putting on such an amazing event 🙏

It’s Anti-Bullying Week across the UK and this marks an opportunity to place renewed focus on creating safe, supportive and inclusive environments for all young people. At Fight for Peace we stand against bullying in all its forms everyone deserves to feel respected, whether at our Academy, school, work, home, or online. Our five values – Embracing, Solidarity, Champion, Inspiring and Courage – guide and underpin all areas of Fight for Peace’s work, helping support young people to reach their full potential 💫 Join us this week in promoting these values and making a stand against bullying. Together, we can build a future where all young people feel safe, supported and celebrated 🤝

This week to celebrate our amazing team of Youth Workers, we heard from long-time Fight or Peace member, now Volunteer Youth Worker, Aziza to find out more about her Fight for Peace journey, and those that inspired her to progress into becoming a youth worker herself! ✨ “My point is, youth work is just helping young people find themselves and allowing them to be who they want to be,” said Aziza.
