🚀 We’re delighted to share the news that the Financial Times has named Founders Factory as the number one startup hub in the UK, according to their just-published European Startup Hubs Report. We’ve also ranked in Europe’s top five for the second year running. The rankings—featuring 150 organisations across Europe—take into account alumni assessments, recommendations from startups and entrepreneurs, and overall portfolio performance, among other criteria. On the announcement, Minister for Investment Poppy Gustafsson said: “The UK is one of the best destinations in the world to invest, so I’m delighted that Founders Factory has been recognised as the UK’s top startup hub. We want the UK to create the next generation of world class businesses who can benefit from our strong science and technology base." 👀 Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/dx7K2739 henry lane fox | Brent Hoberman | George Northcott | Damian Routley | Emma-Jane Willan | David Hickson | Farah Kanji | Claire Morris | Lee Bernasconi | Frank Webster | Simon Lovick | Laura Moross | Ellie Slaght | HM Treasury | Peter Kyle | Department for Science, Innovation and Technology #startuphubs #accelerators #incubators #venturestudios

First up, we explore key differences between deep tech and digital tech (SaaS, marketplaces, etc)—and where opportunities lie in these nuances—as well as debunking some misconceptions about deep tech.
