Frantic & exhausting but amazing would be our 3 words to describe the last few days! We've been in Telford for the eoa annual conference. A few of us have been before, but "only" as delegates. So you enjoy a seminar, then have a half hour break to get a cuppa and chat to people if you want. Rinse and repeat. This was our first time as exhibitors. Those half hour "breaks" were now filled answering lots questions on our trade stand! No rest for the wicked! Tons of interest in our cautionary tale "comics". Fictional tales of founders who took a questionable path, which didn't end well. Lots of love for the retro neon sign, and interest in the free employee engagement survey built for us by Surveylab Limited. Plus great offers on branded merchandise from employee owned Genesis UK. Huge thanks to Ian Hiscock for facilitating the Q & A session around profit sharing, and different employee ownership methods. Our own Chris Maslin was a panellist alongside Harvey Fremlin and Sarah Anderson. Also lovely to catch up with some friends, old and new.
