🌟 New Gastroenterology Advice & Guidance Toolkit Now Available! 🌟 We’re excited to announce the launch of a comprehensive Advice & Guidance (A&G) toolkit for gastroenterology, developed by GIRFT in collaboration with the British Society of Gastroenterology and the Primary Care Society for Gastroenterology and Hepatology. This toolkit is designed to support GPs with decision-making by providing tailored advice from specialist gastroenterologists. It includes customisable templates for secondary care clinicians to respond to common queries about conditions like constipation, chronic diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome, and abnormal liver function tests (LFTs). Developed with input from primary and secondary care clinicians, the templates aim to: ✅ Enhance the timeliness and quality of responses to GPs ✅ Foster collaboration between primary and secondary care ✅ Streamline outpatient processes and improve patient outcomes 👀 Read more on our website: https://ow.ly/QAtc50UK2m0 📌 Explore the toolkit on the GIRFT FutureNHS workspace: https://lnkd.in/eVTpB6tY #Gastroenterology #NHS #PatientCare #PrimaryCare British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) Primary Care Society For Gastroenterology

🦷 Our guidance to help improve Community Dental Services (CDS) for children and adults with special needs is OUT NOW. The guidance (a supplement to the GIRFT national report for hospital dentistry) was developed by a group of 25 experts working in a range of roles in different CDS providers from the different specialties of paediatric and special care dentistry. As part of the work, a questionnaire was sent out to all 68 CDS providers in England, which received a 100% response rate.
