Exciting news! 👏 The 6G-IA White Paper titled ' Sustainability of 6G: Ways To Reduce Energy Consumption' has been released! It covers #sustainability of the #mobilenetwork and efforts toward reducing #networkenergyconsumption in future generations 🫵 This is excellent work by the 6G-IA Vision and Societal Challenges Working Group and Gigasys Solutions is specifically proud that our CEO Mir Ghoraishi was one of the editors. The paper itself is an interesting read and identifies several technologies to help achieve more proactive energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission reduction 🌳 The aim has been to provide a fresh look into the problem of increasing energy consumption in the network and review possible solutions to mitigate this effect. The team of distinguished editors are Artur Hecker, Carlos J. Bernardos, Dr. Karsten Schörner, Rony Bou Rouphael, Mays AL-Naday, Chiara Lombardo, Anastasius Gavras and Mir Ghoraishi and the publication is now available to read below! Huge congratulations for this achievement and well done for all the hard work! 🎉 Mir Ghoraishi Gigasys Solutions #TechnologyConsultancy #RandDProgramManagement #Tech #EnergyEfficiency #RANEnergyEfficiency #MobileNetworkSustainability
The new paper from the 6G-IA Vision and Societal Challenges Working Group has just been published!! https://lnkd.in/ejMKG7UX 6G IA VSC WG Whitepaper: SUSTAINABILITY OF 6G: WAYS TO REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION This whitepaper identifies main challenges in the area of operational #Sustainability of #6G by contrasting the consensual 6G vision of the European Industry and the expected evolution of services and the mobile ecosystem with the lessons learnt from 5G, in the sense of the main energy consumers and the reasons for the latter. In trying to address these challenges, this whitepaper identifies several candidate enabling technologies, and more general approaches, for energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission reduction. The paper is publicly available via the 6G-IA website! Many thanks to all the contributors and especially the White Paper editors Artur Hecker, Carlos J.
