Give Your Best
Non-profit Organizations
Award-winning clothes donation platform for people and brands who want to do good, where refugees can shop for free.
About us
Give Your Best is an award-winning social enterprise providing the first circular peer-to-peer donation platform where people can upload clothes so those living in clothing poverty can shop online for free with the choice and dignity they deserve. Described by Vogue as "the Depop for donations". We are currently supporting primarily refugee women & children. At Give Your Best we also partner with brands and retailers to improve their circularity and social impact via our RePurpose program, where brands can use overstock for good, powered by us: please email Partnerships@giveyourbest.uk for more info. We believe that immigration status or financial barriers shouldn't mean a lack of choice and access to clothing. We're committed to reducing clothing poverty while improving circularity in the fashion industry and empowering marginalised communities. 🌟 What an incredible Crew Day we had at Cynozure on Tuesday! 🌟 Our team spent a full day together, with some brilliant sessions, hosting our 'Values' awards and followed by a lively lunch the next day. In the afternoon, we had the privilege of working with the amazing charity, Give Your Best, an award-winning social enterprise with the first online platform to donate clothes where communities living in clothing poverty can access them. Together, we explored how data can help to achieve their objectives and build on the fantastic work the team are doing. As a B-Corp, we're committed to being a force for good and love partnering with organisations making a real impact. THANK YOU to the Give Your Best team for giving up your time and joining us💜 Here's a snapshot ⬇️ #GiveYourBest #ForceForGood #Cynozure

Time to do a Good Business Shoutout! ⭐ First up: Give Your Best! I met Sol Escobar at the British Library Women's Enterprise Event and was super inspired by her work. Give Your Best is an online platform where you 'give your best' (donate your clothes) so people living in clothing poverty can shop for free, with the agency and dignity they deserve. It’s the most empowering way I’ve seen to reframe donated clothes. Growing up, hand-me-downs and boot sales were a big part of my life (I probably got my first taste of entrepreneurship selling handmade hair clips for 50p in a field by a roundabout in Sussex). But for some reason wearing pre-worn clothes and playing with second-hand toys always felt like it came with a touch of shame or stigma. When you’re just trying to get by, and the luxury of ‘new’ isn’t available to you, it can lead you to feeling like you’re ‘less than’ (despite the immense good that comes from extending the life of items AND the fun of setting up shop at 6am in a field). I love that non-profits like Give Your Best make these clothes desirable and exciting again. If you've got some clothes, time or skills to donate, Give Your Best is definitely an organisation where your impact will go far! Pop a comment below if you know someone else who deserves a Good Business Shoutout!

🎉 Exciting news for a Friday - we're delighted to announce the 10 fashion and textiles businesses that have received funding from our ReWear grant programme! Each of the selected businesses is a London-based circular start-up or early-stage business that is pioneering a repair, resale and/or rental solution for textiles that helps reduce the need for making new clothes. We're supporting them to help grow and expand their operations and amplify their impact, while playing a key role in promoting circularity within London’s fashion ecosystem. The 10 businesses are: 1. The Seam 2. Vamp Sneaker Cleaning 3. SOJO 4. Verte 5. Give Your Best 6. Tern Eco 7. Known Source 8. Continue 9. KIRAA 10. Bundlee The ReWear cohort had the opportunity to meet each other in person at a kick-off event this week, hosted at our offices. It was great to meet everyone in person, and there were a lot of exciting conversations happening. We’re looking forward to seeing the impact all their activities have in London over the next few months! These grants are made possible thanks to funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and supported by the Mayor of London. A huge thanks to ReLondon for believing in our mission! ♻ We will be launching our pilot in-store repair/upcycle scheme co-designed with refugee seamstresses from our community, which will include services to customers and partners, workshops, training. etc. 🤝 We are looking for 3 new partners to participate in this exciting pilot launching next month! Eager to share my experience from the last two days at the pop-up with Give Your Best a non-profit organization at the London College of Fashion East Bank! A huge thank you to Stacia Bedford and Sabinna Rachimova for organizing the incredible Common Threads week-long event focused on circular fashion, recycling, and upcycling. 🌿♻️ It was an absolute pleasure to meet Sol Escobar the inspiring founder of Give Your Best, and Chloe, a dedicated team member. I learned so much about the formation of non-profit organizations and the powerful impact they make, especially in supporting refugees. The positive response from the LCF community was overwhelming, leading to high sales at the pop-up, with all profits going to help those in clothing poverty. 🙌 I even picked up a bunch of clothes that I'm super excited to wear! 💃 #ShoppingForACause This event was a true example of how fashion can drive positive change. Proud to be part of a community that values sustainability, creativity, and social impact. #Sustainable #RetailPopup #Merchandising #KnowledgeExchange #CircularFashion #ImpactfulFashion #GiveYourBest #LondonCollegeofFashion
