  • Wrapping Up Menopause Month with Sky & INEOS 💫 As we wrap up an amazing Menopause Month with SKY and INNEOS, we want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who jumped in & tuned in! GLORIAH’s mission to open up menopause conversations couldn’t have found a better audience—and you all brought so much authenticity (and a bit of humour) to the table. We talked about everything from natural remedies to getting real about menopause in the workplace, we’ve loved creating a space where people could learn, and share about the ups and downs. Educating has been in our DNA from day one, but this month we went further than ever, bringing those sometimes awkward, always important topics into the light. Thanks to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped normalise these conversations especially within the workplace—GLORIAH wouldn’t be here without our community! And this is only the beginning. Stay tuned, because we’ve got some exciting things coming up. Let’s keep the conversations going! I’m gonna use the M word on LinkedIn It’s the word MENOPAUSE You don’t need to be scared of it About half the world have or are gonna go through it And why am I talking about it? Because I met the duo behind GLORIAH this week and I’m wowed by what they have planned for the future (as much as we could squeeze into a 30 min chat) The stereotype of the ‘menopausal person’ has been stuck in time for as long as we can remember. More and more people are entering menopause early. GLORIAH creates products for purpose. Designed specifically to support you as your body changes and your needs increase throughout the menopause __________________________________ I met GLORIAH team at Royal Bank of Scotland Business and they shared some Scottish EDGE advice as they won last year, I can’t wait to see their next marketing campaign! Now obvs I’ve not taken a pic of our meeting because I’m not a weirdo who asks to take photos in a meeting so used their pic below For this follow Friday, give Isla and Jessica and follow and have a nosey at their site Don’t forget - if you buy something from a small business, leave them a review AND tell your friends 👉🏼Link in comments

We read an article in The Guardian that hits close to home. It talks about the huge disadvantage women behind the FemTech phenomenon face—something we at GLORIAH have experienced firsthand. When 50% of the population is impacted by women’s health issues, it’s staggering that less than 4% of healthcare R&D is focused on women-specific conditions like menopause. This lack of attention isn’t just frustrating, it’s limiting the progress we can make in improving women’s lives. At GLORIAH, we’re working to break the silence around menopause and women’s health, but the truth is, it’s an uphill battle. Especially in male-dominated spaces where the conversation often doesn’t even get started. Securing funding? Building partnerships? These tasks are made harder by the fact that only 2.3% of venture capital funding goes to women-led companies. We’ve felt the sting of that statistic in more ways than one. Why? In large part, it’s a lack of education. Menopause and women’s health aren’t seen as priorities by those who aren’t personally affected. It’s too often dismissed, underfunded, and misunderstood. But that’s why we keep pushing. Because women’s health is everyone’s health, and the conversation is long overdue. Our mission is simple: to make menopause mainstream, to get the support and solutions we deserve, and to drive the innovation that’s been too long ignored. The need for FemTech is real. The change we can bring is immense. It’s time the world takes notice—and we won’t stop until it does. Here’s to demanding better. 💪 Shout out to Mo Carrier, Tess Isabelle Cosad, Farah K., Clio Wood, Valentina Milanova 🇺🇦, Rachel Bartholomew, Tara Attfield-Tomes - so refreshing to see this brought to mainstream conversation! #femtech #womenshealth https://lnkd.in/e3QuQPQb
