We had such an amazing time in Jordan last week! 🇯🇴 It was an honour to be part of the first ISPO Arabic Regional Congress for P&O! This was a unique opportunity for us to meet inspiring prosthetists and rehabilitation specialists, and showcase our innovative products in the #MiddleEast. 🙏 Special thanks to the organising committee for a successful congress. During our time in Jordan, we also visited rehabilitation centres and prosthetic clinics, and had the chance to meet the future generation of prosthetists at the University of Jordan. ‼️Children are not small adults, and their voice is essential in designing prosthetic devices that meet their unique needs.🦿‼️ I’m excited to share our publication of a novel toolkit aimed at understanding the prosthetic needs of children with lower-limb loss. This project has been an incredible journey, and we’ve learned so much from working directly with these amazing children. I’m extremely grateful to everyone involved, but especially Caitlin Edgar. We look forward to sharing results from our toolkit implementation in Cambodia and the UK soon.
