Sickle cell disease affects around 15,000 people in the UK, primarily within Black and ethnic minority communities. Initiatives like this are vital in fostering greater awareness and support for those living with the disease. We were honoured to support this incredible initiative led by Dr. Rossby Awadzi @Get Medical and hosted at Brunel University of London focused on raising awareness about sickle cell disease through interactive workshops, talks and #VR.
