🚀 Product news ahead! We're introducing Centerpoint Adjustment, a new feature designed to further enhance the control and precision in tracking vehicle trajectories. While our #VehicleDetection model already recognises movements with over 90% accuracy, thers's always room for tweaks. Or, in this case, a major improvement! Previously, we tracked vehicles from the centre of their bounding box. While effective, this approach sometimes led to trajectory overlaps between lanes, especially when tracking mixed vehicle types like trucks (OGVx) and smaller cars. Centerpoint Adjustment solves this by letting you choose the most accurate tracking point for your needs: 🎥 Center (Default): Tracks movement from the center of the bounding box for a standard, balanced view. 🚛 Bottom Center: Optimised for larger vehicles like trucks, improving tracking precision by positioning at the base of the vehicle. 🛻 1/4 from Bottom: Tracks vehicles at a point one-quarter up from the bottom, offering a balanced view for medium-sized vehicles. 🚗 1/8 from Bottom: Tracks vehicles one-eighth up from the bottom of the bounding box, providing more precision for smaller vehicles. How to get started? When setting up a new data source in #GoodVision Video Insights, simply pick the centre point that best suits your #TrafficAnalytics needs, and our system will adjust vehicle trajectories automatically for clean, accurate #TrafficData visualisation.
