Great profile of Martin Goddard and Jo Littlefair of GODDARD LITTLEFAIR design firm who were part of the 200+ roster of consultant teams brought together to transform the Old War Office into The OWO and Raffles London at The OWO. Martin and Jo designed the Spa - Guerlain's first branded destination spa spanning four floors (3 of them subterranean) - and two dedicated Lifestyle Suites, as well as a members-only health club powered by movement specialist Pillar. The result is an environment that encourages guests to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in the experience. The Times reviews Raffles London at The OWO today following Lisa Grainger's recent stay, giving a detailed review of the guest experience. This includes reference to the naming of the hotel suites after unsung heroes, many of them women, something we're particularly proud of. This naming approach honoured the contributions of some remarkable individuals, and promotes an emotional narrative throughout the hotel, with each room becoming part of the larger story around the history of the building. 👏 We are delighted to share that last night Westminster City Council's Major Planning Committee gave the green light to client Henigman's transformative redevelopment of 27 Savile Row, formerly the West End Central Police Station. This approval marks the successful conclusion of over two years of dedication from a top-tier project team. The redevelopment will transform the Northern End of Savile Row, featuring Grade A office space, a vibrant new destination restaurant, and importantly, a training academy for The London Academy of Bespoke. This academy will cultivate the next generation of tailors right in the heart of the Row. Especially proud of the work Graf London delivered for this project in providing strategic marketing and communications consultancy for client Henigman in the 2 years leading up to committee. The proposal garnered overwhelming support, receiving over 100 positive comments from local businesses, Savile Row tailors, and the broader community, many of whom were present at last night's meeting. The project has been significantly shaped by the input of the Savile Row Bespoke Association and the community at large. We’ve been working with Henigman and Dean Main, along with PLP Architecture, on an exciting project to transform the obsolete police station building on Savile Row into a new sustainable building which will provide a permanent home for the London Academy of Bespoke (a school for apprentice tailors), tailoring workspace, a destination restaurant, Grade A office space along with significant public realm benefits. After over 2 years in the planning system, and despite res-using up to 95% of facade materials, the proposals are not supported by the case officers at Westminster City Council. RESERVATIONS NOW OPEN for the latest restaurant opening at The OWO - Kioku by Endo is officially opening on the rooftop, with 360-degree views across London; a unique Japanese restaurant, intertwined with a hint of Mediterranean influence following Endo’s culinary journeys, including his time spent living around the Mediterranean. Kioku Bar, an intimate and innovative bar located on Whitehall Place at The OWO, opened its doors this week on 24 April. Both concepts brought to The OWO by Creative Restaurant Group and join the collection of restaurants and bars at this new destination in Westminster.
