As we all know, the busy Christmas period brings a surge of activity for the retail industry and with the ever-growing issue of retail crime, requires exceptional efficiency from security partners to address those challenges effectively. We're therefore proud to share an incredible achievement by our team for a long-standing client in the multinational grocery and general merchandise sector in the lead up to Christmas. In just three weeks, we successfully installed over 1000 CCTV cameras across multiple stores throughout the UK. This effort significantly strengthened our client's loss prevention strategy during the festive period, ensuring they were sufficiently protected against losses due to theft to at a time of year when retail crime is at its highest. Their Head of Shrink shared some fantastic feedback: “Phenomenal efforts here from you all. To achieve what we have in 3 weeks is quite frankly unreal. The programme is in a stronger place thanks to your efforts, and let’s all work to keep this momentum into January. This year was particularly special as we celebrated 25 years as a Patron of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals. Taking part in this 800-year-old tradition was an incredible honour, celebrating London’s rich heritage and vibrant community spirit. The Lord Mayor’s Show traditionally welcomes the new Mayor into their first full day in office and introduces them to the people of London. Over the past eight centuries, the show has evolved into a vibrant celebration of the diversity, community and culture that the City of London holds. We were proud to join this prestigious parade in support of the 696th Lord Mayor, Alastair King DL, and Lady Mayoress Florence King, in a remarkable celebration of the City of London. This week, several members of the team have left the rain behind to visit our friends at Hanwha Vision in South Korea. Hanwha are hosting us and our good friends Nimans at their offices in Seoul. During our stay, we will be reviewing their facilities, production & design capabilities, and plenty more! While we’re there, the team at Hanwha will also be showing us the highlights of Seoul, including the Lotte Tower and dinner in 63 Building. From there, we’re off to Vietnam for a few extra days of #teambuilding and sightseeing.
