I, and many others, have spent much of the last decade promoting a Human-centred design approach to health tech, driving better outcomes and lowering costs while improving staff and patient experiences. Advancements in Medical Technology and Clinical practices are having a positive impact on life expectancy. We’re living longer, but are we truly healthier? One unintended consequence of the current focus is that our Healthcare systems are under increasing and unsustainable pressure. Together with a small team at GROUP OF HUMANS®, we’ve been looking at how we might close the gap between: Lifespan - prolonging life. Healthspan - staying healthier and stronger both mentally and physically for longer. I had the pleasure of working alongside fellow humans Gina Alvarez, Paul Bishop, Adrian Barrow, and Sarah Kay in developing our Healthspan initiative, details of which you can find in the link below.
