Great start to the year! HBS have been awarded two new projects to kick off 2025. The first is repeat business with BOUYGUES UK. HBS completed HQ3, and have now been awarded the next phase. HQ4 is a student accommodation scheme with 375 bedrooms across blocks reaching up to 11 storeys, complemented by commercial and student amenities on the ground floor. The MEP scope includes Mechanical - Infrastructure Ventilation BMS Public Health - BCW HTW SVPs RWPs Electrical - Distribution Lighting and Power Emergency Lighting Access Control CCTV IRS Fire Alarm Generator

Many thanks to Joe Kane and TG Lynes Ltd for helping the U9 Enfield Town Youth FC team attend the R&T Bournmouth football tournament. TG’s along with Medlock Electrical Distributors and R & B Star Electrical Wholesalers Limited helped to make the tour affordable so that the whole team could attend. Without their help, this wouldn’t have been possible. The team put in a great shift and came third place, with awards handed out by the legend Harry Redknapp.

Hanover are proud to have worked with Durkan and YouthBuild UK (YBUK) to provide the original placement of Brhane Hagos, providing the opportunity to become and electrician and a permanent employee. Brhane has moved from our Higgs Estate project with Durkan, to further his experience at Countryside Partnerships Clapham Park Estate. Well done on such a success story Brhane!
Brhane Hagos arrived in the UK as an unaccompanied child refugee aged 14, unable to speak English. But he studied hard and was given a chance to succeed by Durkan. Brhane is proud of carving out his own future - from child migrant to qualified electrician and winner of the under 24 category in the YouthBuild UK (YBUK) Young Builder of the Year Awards 2023. Brhane told his inspirational story at the recent YBUK Sponsors' and Patrons' Reception at the UK House of Lords.
