We partnered with Nike to chat about periods with 400 young footballers! ⚽ The two-day event was hosted at none other than St George's Park (ofc we went into The Boot Room 👀) and saw grassroots football teams from all over the UK attend. Our Co-founder Susan C. Allen Augustin and our Doctor in Residence Natasha Ramsey, MD MPH hosted incredible workshops that dismantled period stigma in sport and inspired the young footballers to feel equipped and empowered about their period. 💪 People who menstruate and play football shouldn't feel self conscious or have to drop out of the game they love. 🎉Breaking Taboos, One Aisle at a Time! 🎉 Last week, I dressed head to toe (literally) in pink and headed to Tesco in Manchester with a bit of a crazy idea: find someone on their period and give them £100 to spend in just 1 minute. Why? Because periods can feel like a burden sometimes, and at Here We Flo, we’re all about flipping the narrative to make them feel just a little bit more empowering. 💪🏾 The end result is about as hilarious as you would expect. It's official, Flo is the No.1 fastest-growing period care brand in the UK! 🚀 "In terms of percentage growth in unit sales, Flo is the fastest-growing top 10 brand. In the past year, it added Tesco and Sainsbury’s to its roster of retailers, which includes Boots and Superdrug. Flo – a winner at this year’s The Grocer Gold Awards – has achieved 62.8% value growth on unit sales up 55.6%. That’s despite its organic tampons and pads fetching an average of £2.90 per pack– a 64% premium over the market average.
