This weeks burger comes from The Beefy Boys. We have been working with the team as they grow to provide them with a great bun that matches the standard their fame has been built on. This week we took some of the team to try them. It was a great celebration of launching into their restaurants, taking some of our team that have helped to develop their bespoke bun and even those that get to pack them. This has been a great partnership with Creed Foodservice Ltd who are delivering the buns. Special mention to Kelvin from our Despatch team who was able to squeeze in pudding.

Nice one Henry, in amongst lots of our favourites.
Thrilled to be included in this list (no14) with some TBH some pretty big names! Jeremy Clarkson, Dale Vince Gregg from Stroud Brewery - a certified B Corporation Murf from The Beefy Boys Nicola Bird MSc PgCert 💚💛❤ the list goes on. It was nice to be recognised for the family business I help run Hobbs House Bakery - Certified B Corporation but also the feast with henry herbert that my wife and I have been putting on www.henryherbert.co.uk and how we have integrated Bitcoin into the heart of what we do. Building a business on a sound money standard and leaning into a digital technology that is accelerating better business practices and showing there is another way to do things. For me, I feel like I am standing on the shoulders of giants and if I can help to continue this peaceful revolution then I will be happy. If you haven't been to one of our Feasts then get your self along. They are a lot of tasty fun. https://lnkd.in/gtxQnBNf

Our Nailsworth shop has been causing quite a stir with their Breadlehem window. The team there with the help of our bakers transformed our Organic Wild White loaves into a full nativity. Mary, Joseph, the kings and shepherds. Baby Jesus is made from a baguette and rests within our rye loaf. https://lnkd.in/dsvpYxDs. https://lnkd.in/d-97MZgC

Is anyone able to support Community of Purpose CIC this Christmas.
Marketing Director at Hobbs House Bakery Limited, leading on Sustainability and B Corp. Ensuring our family business is recognised as a quality brand that nourishes it's people and communities for generations to come.
Our amazing friend Amy Kington needs some help with the fantastic work she does Community of Purpose CIC. Are any local businesses looking for a charity to support this Christmas to ensure they can have a Christmas meal, activities or care package. Thank you From Amy I’m writing to let you know about a campaign run by Community of Purpose, which aims to raise £25,000 to help 1,000 disadvantaged children in Bristol this Christmas. Community of Purpose have been one of our chosen good causes for a number of years and I’m reaching out to gain your support for this worthy Christmas campaign. Did you know that around almost a quarter of children in Bristol receive free school meals, representing one of the highest rates in England? Many families in our city face tough choices between fundamentals like heating their homes and putting food on the table. This campaign, backed by Bristol Live and Bristol Post, aims to tackle this by offering respite to 1,000 of those families in South Bristol through the Break Free programme. Break Free provides meals and enriching activities for thousands of children during the holidays. The money raised through this campaign will go towards a special Christmas meal, activities, and care packages for these young people, ensuring they have a festive season to remember. We’ve supported this programme since 2018 and see firsthand the impact it makes on people’s lives. Please click here to watch a short BBC news feature. How you can help? I’m contacting you to ask for your company’s support for this initiative with a donation. A donation of £2,000 could support 80 children on the programme this Christmas, and make a real difference to their lives. If you’re able to contribute, you can do so here https://lnkd.in/e6Bf4n_6 contact Amy.Kington@communityofpurpose.com 07846007805 directly to discuss how you can help. If you’re thinking of how your business can make a difference this Christmas, I commend this programme to you and urge you to support it.
