Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting an event with the Directors from Harworth and Great Places Housing Group. We started out on site with a closer look at the progress on our latest development together- a project that will soon bring 50 quality homes to Wheatley Hall Road, Doncaster. In the afternoon, it was inspiring to see our teams presenting together on the fantastic progress made measuring embedded carbon in the homes we build. It’s so rewarding to see our shared sustainability vision coming to life. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to fruition. We just love to work with partners who share our commitment to quality, community, and innovation in housing. Carl Pugh, Project Manager at our Attraction site in Kingswood, chose Stu Heath from MITCHELL & URWIN BRICKWORK CONTRACTORS LIMITED to join him on the day. "I chose Stu to come with us mainly due to the outstanding way in which he carries himself on site each day, always setting the right example to everyone else around him. He’s practically part of the furniture here, having been on Attraction since Parcel A, still here now as we’ve reached Parcel D. We’ve set a “whatever it takes” attitude on site, and Stu very much echoes that ethos for us."

We’re excited to share we have received Planning Permission for our Homes England site, Expression, at The Avenue, Chesterfield. The collection of 217 new homes will comprise a mix of 150 four and five bedroom homes for open market sale, including some of our most popular designs such as the stunning Valencia with front front-facing balcony, and the three storey Naples with an incredible 22ft lounge! At Strata, we’re passionate about creating homes that are accessible to anyone. That's why we’re also delivering 67 affordable homes at Expression, with two and three bedroom types offering a mixture of tenures, bringing more much needed accessible housing to Chesterfield. With great connectivity to the A61 and M1, Expression is well placed for easy commuting to in the north and midlands, while also benefiting from beautiful surroundings closer to home. The development will benefit from play areas and green open spaces within the community design, as well as access to the existing Country Park next to the development, meaning residents are never far from nature. Expression is perfectly placed to offer the community a sense of safety, balance and belonging.
