Huge thanks to NAPIT for visiting Hull College yesterday! They delivered an insightful session to our Electrotechnical students and fourth-year apprentices, covering key topics like membership of Competent Person schemes, pathways to self-employment, and the MCS renewables scheme. Their expertise on government requirements for renewable energy sources sparked valuable discussions and provided our learners with knowledge to excel in their future careers. #JoinTheJourney Nicholas Marshall Paul Adams M.Ed

When parents pop by to thank us for supporting their son after passing his apprenticeship it makes me so proud to be part of that journey. An apprenticeship is more than a course or job, it requires dedication and hard work to get through. #hullcollege #apprenticeship #hullraisers Nicki Clarke Janine Allen Lynette Leith MA Ranjit Singh Liz Ridley Nicholas Marshall

Thank you to all employers and mentors who supported our BA (Hons) Young Children’s Learning and Development students’ Employer Engagement Dissertation Event last week - your time, expertise, help, and guidance was very much appreciated. The event was an incredible showcase of student talent and professional collaboration. Highlights included: ▪️ Students sharing their dissertation proposals and receiving valuable formative feedback from industry mentors. ▪️ Reflecting on dissertation focus and linking theory to practice. ▪️ Securing opportunities for broader data collection in varied early years settings. Students from the YCLD Foundation Degree also supported the event, showcasing their work and encouraging their peers. Moving forward, our students will critically reflect on the advice received and integrate it into their research projects - continuing their journey to impact change in the early years workforce! #JoinTheJourney Deborah Fletcher M Ed Laura Everett
