  • We are FULLY BOOKED for the West Sussex Growth Hub Business Support Clinic we are hosting at Hurstworks on Monday 3rd March! The FREE 1-1 business support clinic is designed to help local businesses thrive, and will cover Operations and Scaling-up strategies, hosted by Business Account Manager, Luke Brice. After a seven year career in the Metropolitan Police, Luke set up his first official business in the trade sector, growing and selling up after five years. He then set up and scaled a nationwide security company which restructured to a full spectrum group of facilities companies before again selling in 2022. He now enjoys a mix of different business interests, and helping other business owners to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. #WestSussexGrowthHub #BusinessSupport #businessgrowth #hurstpierpoint #localbusiness

  • We had such a wonderful time hosting an evening with our February Artist in Residence, the fabulous Mary Grant! ✨ Mary's paintings conjure up a frenzy of atmosphere with optimistic light and brooding darkness. Her works gives a subtle nod to Constable and Waterhouse but there occasionally remains a contemporary reference of a dinghy or a telegraph pole. The works tend to lead you off somewhere and suggest something further away. Mary is also concerned with demonstrating the potential and endless possibilities of painting. Mary Grant's work has been purchased for public collections such as the Glen Dimplex Group and Kensington and Chelsea Museums and Galleries. Her work is in the private collections of Ed Sheeran, Ardal O'Hanlon, Abbey Clancy, Sir Peter Crouch, Paul McGann, Sir Peter Kenyon, Fiona Phillips, Mick Hucknall, Miranda Richardson, Gary Kemp, Polly Samson, David Gilmour and Lord Baden Powell plus other collections throughout Europe, South Africa, Singapore and the USA. Come in and see Mary's work displayed throughout this month! 🙌 #artist #exhibition

  • We are saying nothing...!!

For the last few weeks I’ve been involved in a major project at The Times looking into the lives, beliefs, aspirations and fears of young people in Britain. And today we’ve taken a dive into the world of work, finding that just one in 10 of Generation Z want to work in the office full time. It’s certainly a seismic change from the view of my generation at that age — when the office was a source not just of income — but also friendship, entertainment and (although we may not have fully appreciated it at the time) learning. You can read our full findings here as part of the wider Generation Z project: https://lnkd.in/eAWVAhaZ
