After months of dedication and teamwork, I’m proud to share our new Family Action website! www.family-action.org.uk We set ourselves some bold objectives and wanted to create a digital space that embodies our brand, offers universal support to families, and ensures a seamless experience for our supporters. We’ve developed a growing hub of helpful articles and a search tool for local services, all underpinned by our helpline, FamilyLine. We’ve created a space for families to tell their inspirational stories and showcase the amazing work that goes on at Family Action every day. …And we’ve developed a considered supporter experience that makes it easy for people to help, and connects them with the vital work that their support enables. A huge thank you everyone who has been involved in the project. Particularly the wizards at our agency, IE Brand & Digital who’ve helped bring our vision and mission to life, and my team, including Wendy Garstin our Project Manager who has given the website her all, and Ami Zienkiewicz and Stacey Mitchell who have managed the mountain of content. We also couldn’t have delivered such a complex and integrated site without the help of Brendon McCoy and Joel Mosca from our systems team who made sure everything our side worked, and Jenni Bacon whose work refreshing Family Action’s brand and visual identity has added a deeper level meaning to the whole project. 📢 I'm super proud to share the new Family Action website: www.family-action.org.uk When I first started at Family Action in June 2023, I knew this website project would be a huge undertaking, but I was really excited to delve in. 15 months later I am still just as excited. It's been a wonderfully collaborative journey with so many teams right across the organisation, and our chosen agency, IE Brand & Digital are amazing at what they do - the vision, information architecture, solution design and technical build were all highly ambitious, as was our brief, and the brilliant developers didn't disappoint. We didn't take the easy route, we took the route that would mean Family Action would end up with a new website that meets the needs of families looking for support for any challenge they face, through our self-help resources, our helpline, FamilyLine and local services. 💚 Our new 'Get support' section will provide self-help articles and local services that match the search so that people can get help day or night, and if we don't currently have a self-help article or a service that matches (our ambition is to grow online resources to cover any and all topics that families need help with), our helpline, FamilyLine can support and refer. 💚 We're telling more stories of the impact of local services and the difference they make to families, and we're telling our own story better. It also looks pretty awesome, thanks to the brand refresh led by the fabulous Jenni Bacon. 👀 Of course, we wanted to improve the donor journey, we'd be daft not to, so if you want to check it out, by all means give it a good go with your credit card, it will go a long way to helping families struggling right now 💷 https://lnkd.in/evM6ziK4 Last but definitely not least, the best part of this hugely technical and complex website build was working with such an amazing team! 💚 There are so many brilliant people at Family Action that I've had the pleasure of working on this project with - hundreds in total, but I have to give special mention to Matthew Dennis, Ami Zienkiewicz and Stacey Mitchell in the digital team, because they're amazing - hugely talented, easy to work with and kept me mostly sane throughout the challenges thrown at us during the build. Also, Brendon McCoy and Joel Mosca are technical/integration superheroes and I look forward to continuing to work with you all on phase II and beyond. 🤩 We're proud of our new website but the launch is just the start, we have lots of plans - a website is never static, always evolving and we know we have a lot to do, so watch this space. p.s. if you want to send any feedback on the new Family Action website, please send to digital@family-action.org.uk.

New case study, starring the rebrand and visual identity for the Bank Workers Charity. Bank Workers Charity offers a safety net to people that have worked in banks, along with their families. They help people to overcome challenges from their finances, relationships, mental or physical health, or career. The rebrand allows Bank Workers Charity to adopt a louder voice on the national stage, acting as a thought leader, and advocating for the wellbeing of people in the banking community.
