Co-founder & CEO @ Illuminate tech. We research online safety interventions, ensure they are implemented effectively and ethically, and advise on the UK's Online Safety Act and other digital regulation. Ex-Ofcom.

Next week I’ll be chairing a Webinar “The Online Safety Act: a dating sector case study on reducing onboarding friction while meeting compliance deadlines.” I’ll be joined by Ofcom, OneID® and Phil B. from dating app Sizzl to demystify the Act using a real-world case study. This will be a great chance to understand what the UK’s online safety regime will look like in practice, how companies can get ahead of deadlines, and why they should want to.
