It's Day 3 and the final day of the Stroke Forum at the ACC Liverpool. Three days of sharing #bestpractice from #health professionals and academics who are leading the way in #stroke rehabilitation and treatment to improve the lives of #strokesurvivors. It's been great to team up with our friends and colleagues from Scotland, the University of Strathclyde and NHS Lanarkshire to share the outcomes and results from the Stroke Rehabilitation pilot at University Hospital Wishaw. We are packing up and counting down to the annual #UKSF24 next week at the ACC Liverpool, starting next Tuesday 3 December. We are excited to attending for the first time and learn all about the latest technologies and advancements for #strokepatients. Having been involved in a ground-breaking #strokerehabilitation trial at NHS Lanarkshire (University Hospital Wishaw), led by the University of Strathclyde this year, we’re looking forward to hearing more from our friends Andy Kerr and Gillian Sweeney about the TERG (technology enriched rehabilitation gym) and its success in supporting improvements in stroke rehab, both in an acute hospital setting and in the local community.
