🌟 Dream big, and let nothing hold you back.🌟 Meet Isabelle, one of our remarkable YMCA Housing residents. At just 16, Isabelle faced family challenges and homelessness. When first arriving at the YMCA, she was apprehensive but relieved to find a safe place to call home. With the consistent support of our dedicated YMCA Housing team, she gained confidence, life skills, and the tools to shape her future. From tenancy training to mental health support, budgeting, CV building, and preparing for college, Isabelle’s journey has been one of growth and determination. Today, she’s managing her own flat, pursuing her dreams of living independently in a big city, and working toward a career in the police force as a criminal investigator. Our amazing YMCA fitness instructor, Lucie Marsh, has done it again!🥋 Representing England at the European Karate Championships in Poland, Lucie battled through to bring home 2 Bronze Medals in sparring and short weapons kata, as well as a Silver Medal in long weapons kata.🥈 Lucie’s determination, skill, and passion are truly inspiring—not just to her students, but to all of us at YMCA Fylde Coast.
