Teams Don’t Break—They Drift 🏎️ When was the last time you truly assessed how aligned your team is? Here’s something I’ve learned after working with countless teams: They rarely fail because of one catastrophic event. Instead, they slowly drift apart due to subtle yet damaging issues. Here’s what I often see: 🚩 Misaligned goals create friction. 🚩 Weak communication habits form silos. 🚩 Feedback is infrequent, leaving employees feeling undervalued. The result? Teams lose their spark. Collaboration falters, productivity dips, and the most talented individuals quietly start looking elsewhere. But here’s the good news: These challenges can be addressed. I work with my clients to: ✅ Realign their teams around shared priorities. ✅ Build strong communication frameworks. ✅ Foster feedback cultures where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. If you’re starting to sense a drift, now is the time to act. DM me or let’s connect to discuss solutions that create thriving teams. ♻️ Repost this if you found it helpful to share with others ➕Follow me, Matej to get more inspiration on team engagement and self-awareness

85% of teams who’ve experienced this training say it transformed their collaboration and leadership. 💪 That’s not just talk—💷 it’s what drives thousands or even millions of pounds in new revenue. Because when teams align, they don’t just work better— —they win bigger. I couldn’t be more excited to have facilitated the first part of the Team Engagement transformative programme with another executive team this week. There’s something truly inspiring about seeing top executives prioritise their people, teams, and employees—it’s a powerful reminder that change must start and be embraced from the top. Here’s what we covered during the session: >> Self-awareness and its impact on individual and team performance. >>What a truly collaborative team culture looks like. >>Identifying the threats and barriers to collaboration. >>Setting clear, actionable objectives for what needs to happen next. The energy in the room was electric, and the positive feedback from participants has only reaffirmed why this remains one of my favourite programmes to deliver. I’m already looking forward to Part 2 next year and the incredible strides this team will continue to make! 🚀 If you're interested in discussing how we can create a bespoke training programme for your team, send me a DM. Let’s make collaboration and leadership your competitive edge! #LeadershipDevelopment #TeamEngagement #Collaboration #ExecutiveTraining #GrowthMindset #iNOMEE

5️⃣YEARS🎉
Founder of iNOMEE® | Award-Winning Agency in L&D | Transformational Training and Facilitation Experiences to Foster Thriving Work Environments | Empowering Individuals and Teams Through Genuine Self-Awareness.
Celebrating 5 Years of iNOMEE! Five years—can it really be that long? Well, sort of... Today marks the anniversary of an idea—the moment iNOMEE first began to take shape in my mind. Back then, it wasn’t iNOMEE yet. It started with me launching a coaching business under my own name, Jan Skroud. Quickly, coaching became more of a tool than the core focus, and my business evolved into Skroud Consulting as training and business consultancy took centre stage. But there was a problem: my surname. It turns out “Skroud” wasn’t so easy for people to pronounce (and that’s putting it kindly!). That’s when the business underwent its most transformative moment. I found a name that truly reflects what I do: helping individuals and teams confidently say, “I know me.” And just like that, iNOMEE was born. >>> What I’ve Learnt in 5 Years of Building iNOMEE Starting my own business was daunting. Honestly, if I had known then what I know now, would I have done it? Launching a third career, diving into a new industry, and starting from scratch—was it worth it? Absolutely. Why? Because following my passion for human psychology and helping individuals and teams thrive is something I’ve dreamt of for as long as I can remember. Every challenge has been worth it. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. >> Authenticity is Key << Here’s the truth: knowing yourself is one thing, but being yourself—especially in business—is a whole other challenge. Early on, I felt pressure to project an image that would “fit” in with corporate London. But the real magic happened when I embraced my authentic self: running iNOMEE my way, proudly operating as an openly gay-owned family business, and unapologetically being me. That shift wasn’t just cathartic—it was transformative for the business and for me personally. Now, iNOMEE and I can both confidently say, “I know me.” >>Here’s to the Next 5 Years I can’t wait to see what this journey brings next. Who knows what I’ll be reflecting on when we celebrate 10 years in 2029? To everyone who’s been part of the iNOMEE story so far—thank you. You’ve made this journey extraordinary.

📊 The Great Divide on Working from Home: Where Do You Stand? 🏠🏢 Over five years after the start of the pandemic, working from home remains a fixture for many—but a substantial 44% of Brits are still commuting daily. According to the latest ONS data, 28% now follow a hybrid model, while 13% work from home full-time. But who’s truly reaping the benefits? ⏱ An Hour Saved : On average, working from home saves nearly an hour of commuting—a gain many are using for a bit of extra sleep and even a little more exercise . ❇️ Hybrid as the ‘New Normal’: Hybrid working appears here to stay, particularly for professionals in technical sectors and those with higher education qualifications. 👨👨👦👦 A Generational & Parental Shift: Older, highly educated workers and parents—especially fathers—are more inclined towards hybrid models. ⚠️ Challenges for Junior Staff: The big question remains—are junior staff missing out on crucial learning from senior colleagues? But here’s the twist: Despite many workers’ preferences, the majority of CEOs are aiming for a full return to pre-pandemic office routines by 2027 (KPMG data). 💬 What are your thoughts on this shift? Is the flexibility worth it, or is the camaraderie of the workplace irreplaceable? Let’s discuss in the comments! ___ ♻️ Repost, so others can share their point of view on working from home ➕ Follow me, Jan, for more insights on team engagement, leadership, and management effectiveness. source: The Times

Monday inspiration, fuelled by last Thursday’s inspiring meeting. 👇

💡What an inspiring meeting with Amanda Rajkumar today. There are leaders, and then there are leaders like Amanda! The one reason I say that isn’t just because: • She shared her incredible career journey • She offered us insightful advice • She listened intently • She took the time to learn about iNOMEE before we met • She showed genuine curiosity about our work in learning & development The real reason is that Amanda agreed to meet in person and spend time with us in our office, despite us having never met before. That she carved out time from her busy schedule to connect shows her exceptional commitment and character. Experiencing her knowledge and warm personality firsthand was truly impressive. Thank you, Amanda – I’m excited to see where this relationship goes. 🛣️ #TrueLeadership

One question we should all be asking is: "Who generates a staggering £106 billion turnover in the UK?" The answer? . . . LGBTQ+ businesses! Hardly a 'minority,' wouldn’t you agree? 🌈 I’m immensely proud to be part of this dynamic and impactful community. Here's what I learned at OutBritain’s launch of the LGBTQ+ Businesses Count report: 1️⃣ The Power of Data Having concrete data is invaluable. This report lays out the figures, backing up the often-challenging experiences of LGBTQ+ business owners and providing a roadmap for genuine progress. Without the numbers, it’s impossible to know what needs fixing or what successful change would look like. 2️⃣ Informed Progress Research and data from the report will be crucial tools for driving meaningful improvements. Many assumptions about the difficulties LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs face were validated, highlighting where we need to focus our efforts. 3️⃣ Building Connections The event was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces ⚡️Daniel Armitage ⚡️, Luke Bennison, Matt Dabrowski, Patrick Dickinson, Victoria Poffley, Louis Marcus, Craig Boddy and meet new ones Harriet Phillips, Annie Bartley, Matthew Cortland, Maggie Berry OBE, Angus Scott, Eduardo Rojas, Leena Patel, James McMillan, Josh Read, Olivia Benson-Green and many more. I’m genuinely excited to explore new ways we can work together to create safe and inclusive spaces for all entrepreneurs to embrace their true selves. 🌟 What were your takeaways from yesterday? 👇 ___ ♻️ Repost to raise awareness about the economic impact of LGBTQ+ businesses in the UK ➕ Follow me Matej for insights on diversity, inclusion, and supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs
